Apple’s App Store Madness

Apple is just losing it and that’s great, especially if more people realize it and switch to a better platform such as Android. Apple is slowing down progress with their insane app approval policies.

Opera Mobile probably won’t make it to the iPhone and the iWobble app (that doesn’t show tits) just got kicked out.

Glad I’m not part of the Apple fanboy crowd who let this restrictive app policy limit their freedom to use their phone however they want to. Selecting my browser or my email client of choice is essential for me. There are even xxx search apps for videos on the Android marketplace (not that I understand why anyone would want to watch porn on their mobile phone but anyway).

The most illogical part of the Apple app store is that everyone can use the browser to surf the web and watch whatever content they like (except Flash of course but that’s not interesting for Mr. Jobs) but they can not use whatever application they like. If some parents appreciate this restrictive app policy they might want to check the websites their kids are visiting on a regular basis (or just get over it and let them live their lifes).
